I’m a 43yo male, and this thing makes it fun to remove snow from the roof. My kids love it, they try to get buried by laying down under where I’m using it. I love how it can launch the snow a few feet away from the house, it all doesn’t build up right next to the house. I use it on a single story rambler. I bet my neighbors think I’m strange about how much my kids and I were laughing when we used it a week ago.

Think of any glowing review cliché, and it applies here. I should have bought one years ago for getting snow off the roof of the low barn. It reduced two afternoons of shoveling down to about an hour.. It snowed about 16″ and then went up to 37F the next day, then back down to below zero overnight so the snow was crusty and hard. This thing cut right through it like butter and sent bricks of snow sailing down the slide. The kids used the bricks to build a snow fort.

We took the rake home and standing safely on the ground, was able to remove 80% of the snow in one and a half hours (we had been spending four hours daily to remove about 10% with what we had).

    Awesome Product
Just wow! After years of using traditional roof takes that only cleared about 6 to 8 inches up the roof line I was contemplating a wired roof melt system that would cost thousands. A Google search for a better alternative led me to your site. After reading reviews, watching videos, and seeing users comments I purchased your contractors version of your Razor. Finally got some snow today; about a foot in CT. 40 minutes later roof was cleared up to 8 feet above gutters. Wife was amazed how well the Razor was working while I was laughing at how easy it was. With the extension poles I was easily able to get to my 25 foot peaks. 30 minutes later I was able to see clear shingles where the sun was beating down on the roof. I tend to be a skeptic when using something for the first time.

Not with the Razor. The contractor’s version is solidly built with a heavy duty slide. It was a good upper body workout when using the multiple extension poles, but well worth it. I would recommend this to any home owner wanting a fast and easy snow removal system. Wish I could include some pictures my wife took, be rest assured the videos I watched were an accurate description of how well the Razor worked.

Thanks for making this awesome product!

Just wanted to say “Thank you!” for the great product you developed. We had at least 16″ of snow here in Forest Lake (closer to 18″, I think!) but the Roof Razor made the job much easier and safer than it would have been. This is my third winter with it, and I am still amazed at its simplicity and efficiency.

I bought your Roof Razor® last summer, and didn’t get around to putting it together. I got home from work last night to find TEN inches of WET snow on the roof. I was tired from working late, and didn’t look forward to the snow removal task. I opened your package, was quite surprised by the heavy duty construction and the quality of your product, and had it assembled in 8 minutes. Even though I have a low pitch, very long roof, I had the entire first ten feet of the roof edge completely cleared of the very dense snow in less than 25 minutes. It actually took me longer to clear off the fallen snow from the driveway than it did to clear the entire roof of snow. I have never had a tool to do this job as quickly and as easily. I am also quite surprised by how inexpensive it was relative to the strong construction. It also breaks down for storage quite easily. I am quite happy with your product, and I intend to spread the word to my friends.

  9. Diane Zahm – SW Virginia

I purchased a Roof Razor® a year or so ago. I live in SW Virginia where we don’t get much snow. Problem is when we do get blasted, it can cover the air exchange on my hot water heater. Used the Roof Razor® for the first time today and it was terrific! Did exactly what I needed it to do. I’m now able to keep myself in hot water . . . a good thing.

  10. Steve and Janet Bayfield, Colorado

With over two to five feet of snow on the roof of a 3100 square foot house, Janet found the Roof Razor® on the Internet. I spoke with Len and listened to his reasons why the Razor was the best tool for the job. Being both skeptical and desperate, I ordered one with an extra 12 feet of poles, figuring either the razor will work or I will get on the roof to remove tons of snow. At my age, it’s easier to buy a new tool than use an old back and shovel! UPS delivered the Razor and upon opening the box, I was intrigued by its simplicity and stout design. I still had my doubts! Early the next morning I cleared over two feet of snow on the roof above the master bedroom in less than 10 minutes. All of it now on the deck! I took the razor to the front of the house to try it there. Knowing the snow was about five feet deep between the gables, I figured this would put the Razor to the test. The Razor cut through the snow and it slid down the tarp onto the ground. With 36 feet of poles, I was able to reach the top of the roof and clear the entire house roof. We did get on the roof to break up ice dams and clear snow in the valleys where the Razor just couldn’t reach due to all the complex pitches of the houses roof. The Razor saves countless hours of shovel time. Now that I know how well the Razor works, I’d pay many times its price. It works! Now if only MinnSNOWta™ can design a tool to remove all the snow that fell off the roof onto the deck, driveway, and front porch!

  11. Brian Cooke – East Coast

Used my Roof Razor® for the first time during the East Coast “Snowzilla” 2016. It works EXACTLY as advertised and I couldn’t be happier. I was even able to clear the 2nd story roof using the additional poles I purchased – although this gave me quite a workout. The neighbors all stopped by to watch & ask “what is that and where did you get it?” Thank you for your honesty in advertising and a great product. -Brian Cooke
